These Color Monster Mats are 39 x 13 inches of creative and playful learning fun! With this purchase you will receive two separate, folded mats: a “Color Monster Activity Mat,” and a “Color Monster Coloring Mat.” The mats are professionally printed on high quality white paper and come to you in black and white - let your kiddos add the color!
Though coloring can be for all ages, starting as soon as your little one can hold a crayon, the learning activities on the “Activity Mat” are mainly geared toward ages 3-5.

The “Color Monster Activity Mat” includes the following 5 activities:
1. Dot the Color Words (great to use with dot markers!)
2. Color Word Beginning Sounds (write in the missing letter, or use dot stickers with letters written on them, or letter manipulatives)
3. Monster Eyes (works on counting up to a given number - use googly eyes, buttons, Cheerios, or let kiddos draw the eyes themselves)
4. Add Hair, Add Mouths, Add Eyes (open-ended activity working on pre-writing skills - let your kiddos be creative in adding their own details to the monsters)
5. Trace the Monster Hair (tracing practice which builds fine motor and pre-writing skills)
Mats come in black and white, so all images can also be colored with colored pencils, crayons, markers, or even painted!
The “Color Monster Coloring Mat” includes 6 different silly monsters each labeled with a different color word (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple). Kiddos can practice recognizing and reading color words by creatively coloring or painting them accordingly!
These mats are big enough for 2-3 kiddos to color together, but not too big that they will feel overwhelming for one kiddo to complete on their own! They fit great on a kitchen table, and are a great activity for siblings to do together! Having them folded allows them to lay flat when opened without needing to be taped down.
