Hi!

I'm so happy you're here. Please stay awhile, and enjoy my attempt at letting you in on moments of this sweet little life.

Our Rustic, Fairy Tale Wedding

Our Rustic, Fairy Tale Wedding

In honor of our 4-year wedding anniversary, I wanted to share some photos from one of my favorite days of all time. With the talent and help of my mom, my mother-in-law, my sisters-in-law, my beautiful bridesmaids, and some really great friends, on July 6, 2013, we pulled off the most perfect, outdoor, rustic, vintage/chic, FAIRY TALE of a wedding.

One of Kyle's groomsmen is a long-time family friend and when Kyle asked me where I wanted to get married, I said at their house. They have 20-something acres of land near my in-laws in Illinois and a beeeauuuutiful home sitting on it. Never in a million years did I think we would actually be able to have our wedding at their house, on their property, but you guys... some people are just THAT generous and kind.

Although every wedding has its tiny imperfections [in the grand scheme], such as the magical Chinese lanterns failing epically and almost burning down their house [I'm exaggerating], and our "walk down the aisle" music starting over right at the part where my dad and I were supposed to walk out, you would never ever know about these imperfections by looking at the beautiful photos. When I look back on that day, the imperfections are SO outweighed by everything else that was absolutely perfect.

I gathered a [giant-sized] handful of my favorites from this day and wanted to share them here. Enjoy!
