12 Favorite Read Alouds for Babies & Toddlers

As a former teacher, it is a dream come true to have a little one of my own who has already, at only 17-months-old, developed a love for reading and books. We spend a lot of time reading during our day. Not only do we read two books before nap time and three at bed time, but we have books in Kade's bedroom, in our living room, and in our playroom downstairs. He has his favorites that we read 25 times before 8 AM and thankfully those favorites change every few days. In honor of International Literacy Day coming up, I have compiled a list that includes some classics that Kade always enjoys, and some classic favorites of my own from teaching preschool and kindergarten.

All of the books in this list (and MORE) can be purchased through Incredibundles (click on the titles for direct links). Scroll to the end of the post to read more about all that Incredibundles offers, and how to enter to win a $50 gift certificate to spend on their extraordinary baby gifts!

Incredibundles provides a service to help parents, caregivers, and loved ones pick award-winning books for their little ones. As the "home of extraordinary baby gifts," they have the option for you to "create-a-bundle" where you can pick and choose from age-appropriate toys, books, and more to create the perfect gift. They also offer pre-made/themed book bundles (bedtime books, Eric Carle books, classic character bundles, etc.), or the option to gift someone with a whole year of books.

In addition to Incredibundles' literacy-based baby gifts, they also offer bath bundles, sleep bundles, diaper bundles, and more. A huge thanks to Incredibundles for sponsoring this post, though all thoughts and opinions are still my own. In order to provide an adequate review of their products, we got to order our very own Incredibundles gift box. We decided to create our own bundle and received the following:
